Our story
Thistle & Pine began with a simple conviction: that the objects we bring into our homes should carry intention and care. Each candle, ceramic piece, and textile in our collection is made by hand, in small batches, with materials chosen not for their cost but for their honesty and durability.
We work with craftspeople who take time over speed, who understand that a hand-thrown bowl or hand-poured candle carries something a machine cannot: the presence of the maker's attention. We wanted to build a shop around that feeling — a place where you could furnish your home with pieces that are made to be lived with, not replaced.
From our studio, we ship weekly to homes across the country. Every order is packed with care, and every piece comes with the knowledge that it was made to last.

What we believe in
The values that guide our work.
Honest materials
We choose materials for their integrity: natural wax, stoneware clay, linen, wool. Nothing is hidden or pretended.
Small batches
We make in quantities that allow us to care for each piece, not volumes that demand compromise.
Slow making
Some things take time. We believe that pace reflects in the finished piece and in how it feels to own it.
A slower home
We furnish homes for people who value the objects around them, who notice light and texture, who linger.
Materials & process
The craft behind each collection.
Candles
Hand-poured in small batches from natural soy and coconut wax blends, each candle is finished with a cotton wick and a fragrance chosen for its character. We believe a candle should burn cleanly and smell like something real.
Ceramics
Thrown and finished by hand on the wheel, each piece is made from high-fire stoneware clay. We work with glazes that age beautifully, deepening in colour and character with time and use.
Textiles
Woven from natural fibres — linen, wool, and cotton — each textile is chosen for its weight, texture, and the way it softens with washing. We favour pieces that improve with age.
